Creating a friendlier version of the Yellow Pages from scratch is quite a challenge, but hey, what’s life without a little bit of challenge thrown in?
So happy today, found two new local businesses that want to profile themselves in our Resource Guide. I am amazed by two things as I do more research… 1) how many small businesses don’t have websites and 2) how many Yellow Page listings online have only a name, address, type of business and a phone number. Of course I know they do that so they can SELL you a bigger ad, but correct me if I’m wrong… the ads are like way expensive! We mean to level the playing field here.
Besides just being a Yellow Pages type resource, since we want traffic, one of our works in progress is an “Events” section tat will feature the happenings here in the Inland Empire! We are going to give certain places free space to promote their events. Others can buy promotional ad space, but our rates will be VERY reasonable. Stay tuned for more…

Basically, we aspire to promote small business and organizations in the Inland Empire by making them more visible and more accessible.
